He started painting while he was still in high school, being active from 1988 to 1991 along the Caboolture line. He ran with a tight crew of like minded artists. Below is a collection of images from his photo album, containing a lot of the work from that period and newspaper clippings. All of these pieces have long since been lost to time and these photos are all that remain.
